Pengolahan Citra Digital

Citra (image) : bisa didefinisikan sebagai fungsi dua dimensi f(x,y) di mana x dan y adalah koordinat spasial dan amplitudo f pada setiap pasang (x,y) disebut intensitas (gray level) citra pada titik tersebut.

Jika x dan y berhingga (finite) dan diskrit (tdk kontinyu) maka disebut citra digital. Citra digital terdiri dari sejumlah elemen berhingga yang masing-masing mempunyai lokasi dan nilai.

Elemen-elemen x dan y disebut elemen citra / pels / pixel.

Pengolahan Citra Digital (PCD) adalah pemrosesan citra digital dengan menggunakan komputer digital.

Tipe pemrosesan komputer :

* Pemrosesan Level Rendah (Low Level Process) : terdapat operasi primitif, seperti pemrosesan citra untuk mengurangi noise, perbaikan kontras, dan penajaman gambar. Ciri-ciri : input dan output sama-sama citra.
* Pemrosesan Level Menengah (Mid Level Process) : terdapat task, seperti segmentasi (pembagian citra menjadi region-region / objek-objek), mendeskripsikan objek-objek untuk mengubahnya menjadi bentuk yang sesuai untuk pemrosesan komputer, dan klasifikasi (mengenali objek-objek tertentu). Ciri-ciri : input berupa citra, output berupa atribut-atribut yang diekstrak dari citra (contoh : garis, kontur)
* Pemrosesan Level Tinggi (High Level Process) : termasuk menjadikan objek-objek yang sudah dikenali menjadi lebih berguna, berkaitan dengan aplikasi, serta melakukan fungsi-fungsi kognitif yang diasosiasikan dengan vision.

Contoh penerapan PCD dan computer vision :

* Absensi pegawai dengan sidik jari
* Program untuk mengenali wajah seseorang
* Sistem temu kembali citra berdasarkan isinya, contoh : dengan memasukkan keyword gunung akan muncul citra-citra yang ada gunung
* Mendeteksi garis putih supaya robot dapat berjalan di atasnya
* Lampu lalu lintas otomatis dengan kamera untuk mendeteksi kepadatan
* Palang kereta otomatis
* Mendeteksi keropos tulang dari citra kerangka manusia

Image sampling dan quantization : output sensor biasanya berupa gelombang voltase kontinyu. Untuk membuat citra digital harus mengubah data kontinyu menjadi bentuk digital.

* Sampling : melakukan digitisasi terhadap nilai koordinat (x,y)
* Quantization : melakukan digitisasi terhadap nilai amplitudo f

Sistem Informasi Software House

Software house adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang software development. Requirement yang dibutuhkan oleh sebuah software house adalah : sistem informasi ini mampu menangani beberapa aspek dasar dalam setiap perusahaan, diantaranya adalah kepegawaian, transaksi project, dan inventaris perusahaan.

Pegawai dibedakan menjadi beberapa posisi yang meliputi manajer, programmer, desainer, database administrator, dan dokumentator. Status pegawai juga dibedakan menjadi pegawai full time dan part time. Pegawai full time memiliki waktu kerja 8 jam perhari dengan hari kerja Senin-Sabtu. Pegawai part time memiliki jam kerja minimal 100 jam perbulan dengan hari kerja yang fleksibel. Setiap project yang ditangani oleh perusahaan memiliki alokasi waktu, alokasi biaya, rentang waktu pelaksanaan, siapa saja yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan project, dan customer karena nantinya hal ini berpengaruh pada kejelasan progress report dari setiap project. Ada tiga jenis project yang ditangani oleh perusahaan, yaitu kategori Software Development, Tutorial, dan Riset. Sedangkan pada kategori Tutorial, hal yang menentukan adalah lamanya kegiatan tutorial dan jumlah peserta tutorial. Lain lagi halnya dengan kategori Riset. Kategori ini dilakukan ketika pegawai sedang idle (keadaan di mana pegawai tersebut sedang tidak menangani suatu project).

Inventaris perusahaan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu inventaris yang bersifat statis dan dinamis. Inventaris yang bersifat statis contohnya adalah kekayaan perusahaan seperti computer, lemari, meja, kendaraan bermotor, dll. Sedangkan inventaris yang bersifat dinamis contohnya adalah hasil karya perusahaan dalam bentuk CD tutorial maupun program.

Ini merupakan produk Microsoft yang berguna sekali untukmelakukan konversi dari format MS Office lama kita (2003 dan sebelumnya) ke format MS Office 2007 dan keluarganya.

2. SaveAsPdfandXps.
Untuk pengguna MS Office 2007 juga tidak kalah, Microsoft telah menyediakan add on khusus untuk mengkonversikan documen anda kedalam format PDF atau XPS.
3. PrimoPDF.
Untuk kalangan proffesional, sangatlah penting jika sebuah documen dikonversikan kedalam bentuk PDF. Namun fitur yang satu ini bisa didapatkan secara gratis hanya pada MS Office 2007. Lalu untuk pengguna MS Office 2003 dan sebelumnya bisa menggukanan third party yang menurut saya sangat relevan untuk digunakan. PrimoPDF, software gratis ini sangatlah handal, flexible dan mudah untuk dipakai. Namun dengan sedikit persyaratan, PrimoPDF memerlukan Microsoft .Net Framework.
4. 7zip.
Guna keperluan kompresi file, menurut saya 7zip masih handal dan layak untuk digunakan.
5. FolderSize.
Banyk teman saya yang kesulitan untuk mengetahui jumlah atau besar dari sebuah folder atau file secara simultan dan cepat tanpa membebani memory komputer. Jawaban saya adalah FolderSize.
6. ImageResizer.
Untuk urusan image atau gambar, saya rasa banyak diantara kita yang beraktifitas selayaknya graphic editor yaitu membesarkan dan mengecilkan gambar. Untuk urusan yang satu ini, lagi2 Microsoft mengeluarkan software gratisnya untuk kita yaitu ImageResizerPowerToy.
7. Attribute Changer.
Guna menyelamatkan data atau bahkan mengamankan data dari pencurian mungkin sebaiknya anda mencoba software gratis yang satu ini.

* Winamp Mungkin sebagian besar pengguna komputer hampir tidak asing dengan Winamp. Kemampuannya memang bagus, tampilannya menarik, tetapi penggunaan Memori dan CPU masih relatif tinggi.
* Audacity Memerlukan Free dan open source audio editing software, jika iya, Audacity merupakan software terbaik.

Graphics (Image Viewer dan Editor)

Jika hanya untuk melihat-lihat /preview gambar standard windows seperti jpg, gif, bmp dan png, maka tools bawaan Windows “Picture and Fax Viewer” sudah mencukupi selain relatif cepat. Tetapi jika ingin software lebih baik, coba berikut ini :

* Picassa Merupakan salah satu software dari google yang sangat bagus untuk mengorganisasi gambar. Indexnya cukup cepat dan tampilan yang bagus.
* XNView Jika memerlukan Image view dengan dukungan format yang cukup banyak, aplikasi ini menyediakannya. Selain itu disertai juga dengan fasilitas editing.
* IrvanView Meskipun tampilannya sederhana, tetapi kemampuan untuk membuka format gambar sangat banyak, mungkin paling lengkap dibanding lainnya
* Gimp Image Editor ini sudah menjadi aplikasi standard di Linux. Tersedia juga untuk Windows. Mungkin sebagian pengguna yang terbiasa dengan Adobe Photoshop, akan kesulitan menggunakan Gimp, alternatifnya gunakan GimpShop (Gimp yang sudah dimodifikasi menunya seperti photoshop
* Paint.NET Dibanding Gimp, graphic editor ini relatif lebih mudah dengan ukuran kurang dari 2 MB, hanya saja diperlukan Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 untuk bisa menjalankan aplikasi ini.
